Biography
Ettah holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Moi University, a postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law,and a Masters of Arts degree in International Conflict Management from the University of Nairobi. She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Ettah serves as Legal Counsel at the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) where she is responsible for, among other things, contracts administration and management, licensing, compliance, corporate governance, and dispute resolution. Ettah has vast experience in management of complex contracts, FIDIC contracts, high-level negotiations and arbitration, and corporate governance.
Ettah previously served at Kenya Wildlife Service as a Legal Officer thus conversant with environmental and conservation laws and policies. She also served as a Resident Magistrate for over two years, as well as a Legal Officer at the Ministry of Immigration and Registration of Persons.
Ettah began her career as a legal intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Legal Division, where she actively took part in drafting of legal documents such as Bilateral Air Services Agreements and maintaining strategic correspondence between the Government Ministries, diplomatic missions and the Office of the Attorney General.
Ettah is a legal consultant with ALP East Africa in the ALP Kenya office in Nairobi.
